Extremely disappointed to be writing here that we lost. We won 2-1 on the day, but it wasn’t enough to turn over the deficit from the first leg. We missed a penalty in the first half and then had one sent off with around 25 minutes to play. We fought until the death and for that we can hold our heads high. Over the two legs we had our chances but ultimately we couldn’t take them and our opposition could. It’s been very hard to take as scoring just one goal more or conceding one goal less in any one of around 8 games throughout the season would have seen us get promoted. We had a very good write up in the local paper, with a picture which captures the disappointment quite well. Unfortuantely for me I am in the foreground of the picture!
